Emilio Moro Red 2022

The Emilio Moro Red 2022 is a wine that embodies the tradition and passion of the Moro family for viticulture in the Ribera del Duero region. Made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes from medium-aged vines, this wine expresses the typicality of the terroir and the legacy of generations dedicated to producing high-quality wines.

The Tempranillo grapes come from medium-aged vines, which contributes to the wine’s concentration and complexity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature, preserving the primary fruit aromas. The subsequent aging in French and American oak barrels confers notes of spices, toast, and vanilla, integrating harmoniously with the fruit.

The Emilio Moro labels highlight the image of a medallion that tells the family’s history from its beginnings. On the Emilio Moro Red label, we see a photograph of Emilio Moro harvesting with his father in the La Rendeja vineyard in 1938, a testament to the family’s deep connection to the land and the winemaking tradition. Emilio Moro, a passionate winemaker, began his activity at the age of 14, passing on his knowledge and love for wine to subsequent generations. José and Javier Moro, the third generation, continue the legacy, consolidating the winery as a reference in Ribera del Duero.
