António Saramago Superior Red 2013 magnum
“All my life has been dedicated to wine and never, at any time, has my passion waned,” asserts António Saramago, the longest-serving winemaker in activity in Portugal. With 60 years devoted to wine, António Saramago is the master of the Castelão grape, the hallmark of the Setúbal Peninsula, knowing it like the back of his hand. In addition to the award-winning reds based on Castelão, his sublime Setúbal muscatels have received magnificent reviews. This wine underwent fermentation in stainless steel lagares between 26-28ºC with post-fermentation maceration. It aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
