Quinta do Piloto Reserva Rosé 2019
Quinta do Piloto is located in the Palmela region and is owned by the Cardoso family.
The Cardoso family is one of the oldest families in Palmela, with a connection to wines since the beginning of the last century.
Humberto Cardoso founded this estate, and currently, it is the 4th generation that ensures and leads the company’s destiny. Quinta do Piloto Reserva Rosé is a wine made from grapes grown on the Lau property.
The predominant grape varieties used are Touriga Nacional, Castelão, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The fermentation of this wine takes place in stainless steel tanks until the end of the tumultuous phase, followed by fermentation in French oak barrels. Aging is carried out for 8 months in extra fine grain French oak barrels with regular lees stirring (battonage).
